Do you want to know the secrets to success?

Want to be the best in your field? Want to be the fastest? Want to win big? Why not break world records? Then you'll need a knowledgeable guide. It doesn't matter what profession you are in, where you're at psychologically and physically, or what you've accomplished so far. The secret to success is having the right guide.

This blog is designed to be your guide for success in any endeavor. It would be unrealistic to think you could jump from the middle of the pack all the way to the top of the mountain instantaneously. Rather than create a plan to launch yourself into the spotlight from where you are now, instead try to make self improvements every day. If you constantly strive to enter new territory you may wake up one day as the benchmark everyone else compares themselves to. Your greatest obstacle is a combination of your own complacency and fear of failure. Your own apathy and "I don't care" attitude is what is keeping you from your own success. The whole world is suffering from a spiritual disease of "it's not my problem." What you want to do with your life is your solution to the world's problems.
Now I'm going to help you get out of the box by introducing you some "out of this world" opposite solutions. You go from the alarm clock, checking the cell phone, to the tv, to the computer, to the gps system in your car, facebooking, twittering, and texting. All these technology devices are what I am refering to when I say "the box." You might think that you need all or some of these "boxes" for success. The truth is the majority of us gets lost in the box. Take a look at the example of Thomas Edison with the discovery of the light bulb before "the box." In order to invent the lightbulb, Edison failed thousands of times and he never quit until he reached his breakthrough.

However long the journey is to the top, you will never reach victory if you quit. The guide helps to motivate you get off the couch and do something. What do you want to do with the rest of your life? Knowing the answer to this question will help you with your dharma. Your Dharma is what you are supposed to be doing with your life. Some people have no idea what their dharma is. How can you succeed in life if you don't know what your dharma is. To get in touch with your dharma you can go back in time right now and think about what you've always wanted to do with your life. Did you want to be a social worker, a politician, an athlete, an astronaut, a teacher, a healer, a lawyer, a fireman, a writer, a parent, or something else? In the old days a person knew what their dharma was from their name or what their parents did for a living. For example if your last name happened to be miller, you worked at a mill. Another example would be if your name was Shoemaker, your parents probably made and repaired shoes. I'm not asking you to change your name. Instead I'm asking you to think about your full name. Your dharma could be hidden in your name. By remembering who you are you won't even think about quitting.

If you don't have a lightbulb going off in your brain right now, go back and read the last three paragraphs over again.  What do you want to do today to get off the couch, out of the box, and in touch with your dharma? Make a list right now of everything you've wanted to do in your life but never got around to it. Make a to do list for your life. These are your new goals to work towards. Brainstorming is essential to creating a successful reality. It is very important not to judge what you can or cannot do at this point. If Edison believed it wasn't possible to light up the darkness he would have quit and maybe we would still be living in darkness. Not having a guide is equivalent to living in darkness without a light. Stepping into the light is achieved by following the guide's directions.

Would you follow a guide that has never been to the destination? It is important to trust an experienced guide to lead you to success. You may think the guide is leading you in the wrong direction up the mountain because you think there is a faster way even though you've never been to the top. The guide says come and follow me. You think the guide is crazy because you're so close to the top. You see the top and want to take the shortest route to the top not knowing you at the most dangerous part of the journey. You must get off the couch and out of the box by trusting your guide, which by the way is why you're here. Now that you have read this blog, you should already have a to do list for your life. If you haven't made the list yet, make your list now. Making your to do list for life precedes getting off the couch, getting out of the box, and realizing your dharma. Your to do list for life and trusting in your guide are both secrets. I can only guide you to the top if you let me. Congratulations you have taken your first step to success by setting goals you want to accomplish before you die. Now prioritize your goals from your to do list for life.

On my next blog, I might release more secrets...
